Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Foreign Relations Parliamentary Committee, Humam Hamoudi, stressed the necessity of finding peaceful solution in Syria to avoid partition and sectarian violence.

A statement by his office received by AIN cited "Hamoudi received the French Ambassador to Iraq and discussed with him the Syrian crisis and its consequences."

"Hamoudi confirmed the importance of reaching peaceful solution ruling out reaching such solution by the Syrian political sides," the statement concluded. /End/
